**Sunday 28th September
Baptismal Service
We are planning to have a special Baptismal Service at 10.30am - starting in St James and concluding at The Lindors Hotel. The plan is to have worship, word and testimony in church and baptism at the pool at Lindors (about 12.30) followed by a fellowship time with Tea / Coffee / Squash / Sandwiches (spilling out into the garden in the sunshine!).
Please let Gerard know if you are considering baptism (and have not previously been baptised).
Please put the date in your diary.
It would be helpful to have some idea of numbers (enough food!) - we will put a sign-up sheet at the back or let Claire know..... more details to follow
**Children
Jesus places an extraordinary high value on children. Here at St. James we try to do the same by including them as much as possible.
Following the worship time at the beginning of the service, we invite all the children to the front for a special ‘kids talk’. Please feel free to accompany them if they are a little shy! Then Pre-school to 14yrs go upstairs for Sunday School (J Squad).
There is a soundproof crèche at the back of the church for babies and very young children and someone will be available to look after them if you wish. Alternatively, if you would like to stay with them the service is relayed through an audio link.
