Worship

Sunday Morning Family Worship is our main Service. This is lively, well attended (about 120 plus), informal and welcoming. We use a mix of modern and older songs. The Preaching team share in leading and speaking.

We feel it is important to involve the children in all areas of the church especially in the services.  We therefore have a 'kids talk' for them close to the beginning of the service where they can participate - which is always enjoyable for everyone.  Following this they can go upstairs for their Sunday School (J Squad) activities.

There is a creche available for babies and an opportunity to leave them with a responsible adult during the rest of the service.  (All volunteers who are involved with the children/young people have current CRB discloures).

Most people remain for tea, coffee and chat afterwards.

The Young People of the church now play a major role in the Evening Services.  They have their own musicans and singers who make up the worship group and each week they take it in turns to read the bible passage which is based on the theme of the service.   They are also responsible for operating the projector and PA system.   We are pleased to see this group going from strength to strength as we see more young people join us as the evening congregation begins to grow.

Following the evening service there is an opportunity to stay for a cuppa and food.  The young people usually stay longer where they join together for a Bible Study.
